Plusieurs blessés, mais aucun mort dans l’accident d’avion à l’aéroport Pearson

Au moins trois personnes ont été grièvement blessées, dont un enfant. On ne craint toutefois pas pour leur vie.

On February 17, 2025, a Delta flight operated by Endeavor Air, a Bombardier CRJ-900, crashed at Toronto's Pearson Airport upon landing. The incident resulted in multiple injuries but no fatalities. The flight, carrying 76 passengers and 4 crew members, skidded off the runway and overturned. Emergency services responded promptly, with several injured individuals transported to hospitals. Weather conditions at the time included strong winds and snow squalls, which may have contributed to the incident. Two runways were temporarily closed, leading to flight diversions, including some rerouted to Montreal's Trudeau Airport. Airport operations resumed later, though delays were expected. An investigation by the Canadian Transportation Safety Board is ongoing, with assistance from U.S. authorities. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
