Vancouver police arrested a 27-year-old man for allegedly vandalizing a Tesla dealership in Kitsilano by spray-painting obscenities. He was released and directed to appear in court on May 15. Police are investigating eight "politically motivated" acts of mischief against Tesla this year, potentially linked to Elon Musk's U.S. affiliations. This follows "Tesla Takedown" protests in Metro Vancouver and vandalism incidents due to Musk's political involvement. Calgary police are also investigating the arson of two Tesla vehicles. Separately, the Toronto Police Service is mourning the death of a 38-year-old officer.
