A world-famous Niagara Falls attraction is about to undergo a major redevelopment, bringing significant visual changes to the Ontario city's skyline in the process.Niagara Parks announced on Thursday that it is kicking off a multi-phased redevelopment of its flagship Journey Behind the Falls attraction this month, stating that the project will transform the attraction into a year-round destination for tourists.According to Niagara Parks, the phased updates will restore a historic tunnel etched beneath the Horseshoe Falls to expand its network of repurposed hydroelectric infrastructure and improve capacity with a new heated and covered year-round viewing platform, along with a renovation of the existing Rainbow platform.The first phase of construction will introduce a new stabilized tunnel leading the new viewing platform, while the second phase will see the reconstruction of the existing Rainbow platform to meet modern safety standards.Work on the upgrades will ramp up with the Mar...
