Postmaster from North Lanarkshire caught up in Horizon IT scandal awarded high five

'They called us thieves over the £6000'

Abdul, a postmaster from North Lanarkshire wrongly accused of theft due to the faulty Horizon Post Office software, has been awarded a high five-figure compensation sum. He and his daughter Selina ran a post office in Motherwell in 2014 and were investigated for a £6000 shortfall within six months. Over 700 sub-postmasters were prosecuted in the UK due to the Horizon scandal. Selina urges others to join the Voice of the Postmaster campaign and to keep fighting.
