Pranksters drive motorists mad after swapping road signs in villages more than 70 MILES apart

A serial 'sign-swapper' has caused chaos on West Country roads after several 'welcome' signs were replaced with ones belonging to other towns and villages.

Pranksters swapped road signs in villages over 70 miles apart in Somerset, Dorset, and Wiltshire, causing confusion. The Bradford-on-Avon sign was found in Portland, Dorset, and a Waterlip sign appeared in Midsomer Norton. Authorities are investigating and reinstating the signs.
