The Duke of Sussex dramatically quit Sentebale as patron last night amid a boardroom battle, with the chairwoman Dr Sophie Chandauka then appearing to criticise him for 'playing the victim card'.
Following Prince Harry's resignation as patron, his charity Sentebale issued a statement emphasizing the importance of "people in the field" over trustees, patrons, and founders. This came amid a dispute involving departing trustees and the charity's CEO, Dr. Chandauka, who has accused some of poor governance, abuse of power, and mistreatment. Harry and Prince Seeiso resigned as patrons in support of the trustees.
