Princess of Wales to make solo St Patrick’s Day visit to Irish Guards

Kate, who is colonel of the regiment, missed the Guards’ celebrations last year after being diagnosed with cancer.

Princess Kate, Colonel of the Irish Guards, will make a solo visit to their St. Patrick's Day parade at Wellington Barracks on Monday. She will award medals, present shamrocks, take the salute at a march-past, meet veterans, cadets, and families, and participate in a toast. The Irish wolfhound regimental mascot will also be present. This follows her absence last year due to a cancer diagnosis.
