Queen walks in footsteps of Charles Dickens on visit to his former home

Camilla visited the writer’s only remaining London home.

Queen Camilla visited the Charles Dickens Museum in London to celebrate its 100th anniversary, touring the house where Dickens wrote *The Pickwick Papers* and *Oliver Twist*. She viewed Dickens's artifacts, met his great-great-great-grandson, and joked about stealing Dickens's diamond ring. Actors Miriam Margolyes and Simon Callow read excerpts from Dickens's works during the visit.
