In Kaduna State, John Moses, Yakubu Mohammed, and Mustapha Musa were convicted of rape. Moses and Mohammed were sentenced to death by hanging and surgical castration on two counts each under the Penal Code Law 2017. Musa received a life imprisonment sentence on two counts of rape under the Penal Code Law. The convictions, secured by the Ministry of Human Services and Social Development, occurred between June 2024 and February 2025.
