Raymond James Sees Biggest Crop of New Oil Projects in a Decade

A flurry of oil projects from Brazil to Saudi Arabia are set to come online this year, providing the biggest infusion of new crude production in more than a decade.

Raymond James forecasts the biggest increase in new crude oil production in over a decade, with projects from Brazil to Saudi Arabia adding approximately 2.9 million barrels a day in 2025. This influx is expected to create a supply surplus, potentially exceeding demand by 280,000 barrels a day.
