DNA has show the remains found in the grave are neither those of Joe Lynskey or of the family to whom the grave belongs, investigators said.
DNA testing confirmed that remains exhumed from a grave in Co Monaghan are not those of Joe Lynskey, an IRA victim and one of "The Disappeared." The Lynskey family and the family to whom the grave belongs have been informed. The ICLVR and Irish justice minister expressed their support for the families and commended the ongoing search efforts.
