It may seem hard to credit now but, back in October 2022, Ukrainian forces were steadily liberating territory from the Russian invaders. That is until, suddenly, they weren't.
According to the Daily Mail, Ukraine's military relies heavily on Elon Musk's Starlink satellite system, and its frontline would collapse without it. Musk warned of this possibility in a spat with Poland's foreign minister. US negotiators also considered limiting Starlink access to Ukraine. Musk has claimed that without Starlink, Russia would be on the border with Poland.
