The star appears as two rival mob bosses in the new movie which opens this month.
Robert De Niro discussed the challenges of playing two rival mob boss roles, Vito and Frank, in the upcoming film "The Alto Knights," directed by Barry Levinson. He found it necessary to have an actor stand in for the other role during filming to make the process work. De Niro enjoyed playing the more explosive Vito, while finding Frank closer to his real personality. "The Alto Knights," also starring Debra Messing, Cosmo Jarvis, and Kathrine Narducci, will be released in UK cinemas on March 21. The film is based on a true story.
