Commuters are being warned to expect major disruption on Elizabeth Line services until 12pm
Rush hour chaos on the Elizabeth line between Paddington and Heathrow is caused by a faulty track, leading to severe delays and potential cancellations until 12 pm. This disruption also affects Great Western Railway and Heathrow Express services, as well as the Bakerloo and Metropolitan lines. Additionally, planned strikes by Aslef union workers on the Elizabeth line, in response to rejected pay increases, are set to occur on February 27, March 1, 8, and 10. The Elizabeth line, handling over 700,000 weekday journeys, is the UK's busiest rail line.
