A New Mexico clinic claims Gene Hackman's wife, Betsy Arakawa, called them on February 12th, contradicting the official date of death of February 11th determined by the county sheriff's office, who have since confirmed Arakawa made multiple calls to a health clinic on February 12th. Arakawa reportedly made an appointment for herself, cancelled it due to her husband's illness, and then rebooked and spoke to one of the clinic's doctors that morning.
