Athlete who once buckled under the weight of her expectations is now capable of settling while under pressure
Sarah Healy won the 3,000m gold medal at the 2025 European Athletics Indoor Championships in Apeldoorn. After struggling with pressure and expectations in past senior competitions, the 24-year-old attributes her recent success to a change in mindset and her move to Manchester to train with coaches Trevor Painter and Jenny Meadows. Healy is now aiming for another medal at the World Indoor Championships in Nanjing.
