Scots taxi driver who refused to take guide dog has licence suspended

A private hire cab driver has been suspended over the incident after he told a customer he had an allergy.



A Glasgow taxi driver, Javid Iqbal, had his license suspended for a month after refusing to transport a customer with a guide dog, claiming an allergy. He admitted he had no exemption certificate and no longer had the allergy. He only agreed to take the passenger after being threatened with a report.
