Students from SMAN 3 Taruna Angkasa in Madiun won a gold medal at the 2025 Youth International Science Fair (YISF) for their innovative biodegradable plastic made from agricultural waste such as corn cobs and rice straw. Their product, which breaks down in 57 days compared to the industry standard of 1-2 years, earned them Best Booth and Grand Prize. The Jatim Education Office commended their achievement, highlighting its significance in advancing sustainable development and enhancing Jatim's educational profile.
