The European Investment Bank (EIB) has approved a €240 million loan for Slovakia to support green and digital projects aligned with the EU's sustainability goals. The funds will be used for initiatives including research and innovation, digitalization, SME growth, climate resilience, and biodiversity protection. Minister of Finance Ladislav Kamenický emphasized the loan's role in maintaining Slovakia's leadership in sustainability and supporting job creation and economic stability. Vice-President of the EIB, Kyriacos Kakouris, highlighted the loan's contribution to strengthening resilience and improving public services.
