Soul food spot set to take over space once held by beloved Toronto brunch staple

An Ontario soul food restaurant beloved for its next-level cornbread is finally opening a location in Toronto, and it's coming very soon.There was heartbreak the city over when Saving Grace, a Dundas West brunch staple that had been serving up the likes of French toast and eggs Benedict for 25 years, suddenly announced it would be closing down permanently in February of 2025.The restaurant's owner, Monica, said she was "overjoyed" to be closing the restaurant down, but that didn't do much to quell the sadness felt by scores of the restaurant's fans at the loss of a neighbourhood staple.Where could they look for a new local go-to?
