Des ouvriers ont commence a retirer une fresque aux couleurs du mouvement antiraciste, inauguree a l'ete 2020 a proximite de la Maison-Blanche.

Under pressure from the Trump administration, the Black Lives Matter Plaza in Washington, D.C., is being dismantled. Workers began removing the mural on March 10, 2025, after Republican lawmakers threatened to withhold federal funding if it remained. Democratic Mayor Muriel Bowser reluctantly agreed to the removal, citing concerns over federal job losses and potential financial strain on the city. The plaza will be redesigned as part of a city-wide mural project.
