A Specialist Family Physician at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) has urged young Ghanaians to practice safe sex, citing a rise in HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs) across the country. Dr Kofi Frimpong Oppong, who is also the Medical Director of FamCare Clinic, made the call while speaking at a free medical screening event at the Kumasi City Mall on December 2, 2025.
