Stuart Hogg pleased guilty to a single charge of domestic abuse of his ex-partner, Gillian Hogg, last year.

Stuart Hogg, former Scotland rugby captain, must make progress on his supervision order after admitting to domestic abuse of his ex-wife, Gillian Hogg. He pleaded guilty in November to a charge of domestic abuse between 2019 and 2024 and was sentenced in January to a community payback order with one year of supervision and a five-year non-contact order. A court review revealed compliance with appointments but indicated the need for progress, noting the difficult divorce. A further review is scheduled for June 16. Hogg was previously banned from contacting Mrs. Hogg after breaching bail conditions and has a history of berating her for not joining in with his drinking and sending excessive text messages.
