Sudan files case to UN court alleging UAE is breaching genocide convention by funding rebels

Sudan has filed a case at the International Court of Justice accusing the United Arab Emirates of breaching the genocide convention by funding the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Sudan's ongoing war. Sudan alleges the UAE is complicit in genocide against the Masalit people by providing extensive support to the RSF, who are accused of committing numerous atrocities. Sudan seeks urgent interim orders against the UAE to prevent further violence. The conflict in Sudan has resulted in over 24,000 deaths and displaced over 14 million people.
