Headway North Lanarkshire, a support group for brain injury survivors, has moved to a new, more accessible base at the NCT Centre in Newmains. The relaunch event featured former boxer Gary Murray, who sustained a brain injury, and aims to raise awareness of the services offered. The group provides peer support, weekly drop-in sessions, programs with guest speakers, and activities for brain injury survivors and welcomes new members and volunteers.
