Hannah Waddingham accepted the role of Rebecca Welton in "Ted Lasso" to be close to home for her daughter. She asked for a job that would allow her to prioritize motherhood. "Ted Lasso" films 40 minutes from her house, fulfilling her wish. Waddingham previously starred in Eurovision, Game of Thrones, and various musicals.
