Teen dies months after doctor diagnosed headache as ear infection

Jac Sexton, a 19-year-old barber, began experiencing symptoms like dizziness and slurred speech in October 2024. Initially diagnosed with an ear infection linked to glandular fever, his condition worsened. He was later found to have a rare and aggressive brain tumor, high-grade glioblastoma. Despite intensive treatment, including radiotherapy, his health declined. Remarkably, he recovered against medical odds, but the tumor ultimately claimed his life in February 2025. His uncle, Rhydian Sexton, highlighted Jac's impact and the family's plans to use donations for support. The family received assistance from the Ronald McDonald Charity.
