The young woman is now 18 but was 16 at the time of the alleged offence at Limerick race course in Patrickswell, Co Limerick on December 26th, 2022.
At a Limerick racecourse in December 2022, a 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped in a car by two boys, then aged 13 and 15. The now 18-year-old woman testified in court that one boy had sex with her without consent, followed by the other doing the same. A third teen, then 15, is charged with aiding and abetting the alleged assault. The defendants claim the act was consensual.
