‘I should have made it happen,’ said ‘Almost Famous’ actor
Kate Hudson has expressed regret for turning down the role of Andrea Sachs in the 2006 film *The Devil Wears Prada*, which was eventually played by Anne Hathaway. During an interview with Capital, Hudson admitted that declining the role was a mistake. The film, which follows an aspiring journalist working for a demanding magazine editor, was later adapted into a Broadway and West End musical, and a sequel is reportedly in development. Other actresses, including Rachel McAdams, Scarlett Johansson, Kirsten Dunst, and Natalie Portman, were also reportedly offered the role but declined.
