George, who had spina bifida and used a wheelchair, kept his gender identity a secret from Lori for years, eventually transitioning and changing his name from Reba. Lori supported George's decision. The twins held the Guinness World Record for the oldest-living conjoined twins and were the first same-sex conjoined twins to identify as different genders. They lived independently in Pennsylvania and pursued separate hobbies.
