This secluded Ontario beach is a much quieter alternative to its popular neighbour

If you're looking for a secluded, less busy beach to visit this summer, you still have time to check out Oliphant Beach in South Bruce Peninsula, Ontario. This lesser-known (and therefore a lot quieter) beach is home to some long shorelines along Lake Huron, and shallow, clean water. The spot is a popular destination for kiteboarding, windsurfing and sailing because of the near-shore waters — which are similar in nature to, though less populated than, the bustling nearby Saugeen (formerly Sauble) Beach.Windsurfing is a popular sport at Oliphant Beach because of its shallow waters.
