Tommy Robinson segregated in prison due to ‘mark on his head’, High Court told

Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, is serving an 18-month sentence for contempt of court after breaching an injunction.

Tommy Robinson, serving an 18-month sentence for contempt of court, was segregated in HMP Woodhill due to threats to his safety, including planned assaults by other prisoners, as reported to the High Court. Robinson claimed the segregation caused a decline in his mental health and sought a legal challenge, which he lost. The Ministry of Justice argued the segregation was necessary due to the risks and that Robinson had access to privileges like a laptop and gym. Robinson claimed the isolation was politically motivated and requested a move to open prison.
