A British court convicted three Bulgarian nationals residing in London of spying for Russia. They surveilled two investigative journalists who had exposed Russian secret service involvement in the poisonings of Alexei Navalny and Sergei Skripal. The three were part of a larger network directed by Orlin Roussev, who, along with two others, pleaded guilty separately.
