Mashramani 2026 came alive yesterday with colour, music and spirited participation heralding Guyana’s 56th anniversary as a Republic. The parade, following weeks of preparation, moved along the length and breadth of Main Street before turning onto Church Street and then Irving Street, culminating at the National Park, where families gathered to enjoy the festivities.
