Two men found dead in ice fishing tent, carbon monoxide poisoning eyed: Boyle RCMP

Preliminary investigation suggests that the cause of death for both men is carbon monoxide poisoning, likely resulting from a heating source used inside the tent, police said.

Two men, Ray Foley and Shawn Paul, were found dead in an ice fishing tent on Crow Lake in northern Alberta. RCMP suspect their deaths were due to carbon monoxide poisoning from a heating source inside the tent. The bodies were discovered on Saturday, and the preliminary investigation points to the heating device as the cause.
