Two young women have been arrested for allegedly attempting to smuggle suspected Indian hemp into the Ankaful Maximum Security Prison in the Central Region. The suspects, identified as 21-year-old Beauty Buerkie Buertey and 23-year-old Maura Amissah, are currently in the custody of the Elmina Police, assisting with investigations.
