Ugandan Army Tours Kenya to Study Military Welfare and Support Programs

A delegation from the Uganda People’s Defence Forces has concluded a benchmarking tour to Kenya’s Defence Forces Welfare Services in a bid to enhance welfare packages for military personnel and their families across the East African region. The visit, which was held at the DEFWES Headquarters, Moi Air Base in Eastleigh, Nairobi, sought to share ideas and best practices on key welfare areas including housing, healthcare, education, and post-service support.
