Ukrainian refugee, 25, who came to Britain in wake of Putin's invasion took his own life in car after suffering crippling 'loneliness', inquest hears

In March 2025, an inquest heard that a 25-year-old Ukrainian refugee in Britain took his own life in his car due to crippling loneliness. Oleksandr Cherednichenko moved to the UK in 2022 following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. He was found dead in his car in December 2024 with a notebook containing the word "loneliness."
