V&A Dundee’s £2.6 million investment from UK Government confirmed

The museum opened in 2018 and has boosted tourism with 1.35 million visitors to Dundee in 2023.

V&A Dundee has secured a £2.6 million investment from the UK Government to remodel and extend its Scottish Design Galleries, supporting job creation and tourism growth. This funding, part of a £1.4 billion commitment for local growth in Scotland, also includes £20 million for regeneration projects in Tayside. The museum, which welcomed 1.35 million visitors in 2023, is celebrated as a national institution. The investment, originally approved by the Conservative government and confirmed after Labour's review, aligns with the UK Government's strategy to boost the economy and enhance living standards.
