Just Stop Oil protesters planned to glue themselves to Heathrow Airport's runway on July 24th of last year, but were intercepted and arrested by Metropolitan Police near the airport's perimeter fence. The protesters were found with angle grinders and glue, indicating their plan to breach the fence and attach themselves to the runway. Nine protesters were found guilty of conspiracy to cause public nuisance on March 20th.
