Watchdog speaks out on Oasis Ticketmaster reunion ticket controversy months after 'dynamic pricing' fury

Ticketmaster may have misled music fans seeking to buy tickets to see British band Oasis last year, Britain's competition watchdog has said.

The UK's Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is concerned Ticketmaster may have misled Oasis fans during the sale of reunion tour tickets, potentially breaching consumer protection law with "dynamic pricing," unclear labeling of "platinum" tickets, and discrepancies in standing ticket prices. The CMA is calling for changes in how Ticketmaster informs customers. Ticketmaster has made some changes, but the CMA says they aren't sufficient. Oasis blamed their management for the dynamic pricing.
