Multiple videos shared on social media over the weekend show the shocking moment a WestJet flight out of Toronto made a hard landing in St. Maarten, a tropical destination located in the northeastern Caribbean Sea. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon at the island's Princess Juliana International Airport and involved a WestJet Boeing 737-800 aircraft, operating as flight WS2276 from Toronto Pearson Airport. Videos taken from several angles show the aircraft made a hard landing at 1:31 p.m., resulting in a small cloud of smoke on the runway.
