Wetter: Erst Kälteste Nacht des Winters im Osten, dann Frühling im Südwesten

The coldest night of the winter hit eastern Germany, with temperatures dropping to minus 16.5°C in Saxony-Anhalt. Cold Scandinavian air and high-pressure systems caused the frost, with warnings for persistent freezing conditions in the east and south-east. Nighttime temperatures ranged from -5°C to -9°C, with localized lows of -15°C. However, warmer weather followed, with sunny conditions in the north on Tuesday, reaching 1-3°C. By Wednesday, temperatures rose to 9°C, and up to 14°C by Thursday, though slippery conditions were possible overnight on Thursday.
