According to Wifo, the unadjusted gender pay gap in Austria decreased by 5.7 percentage points since 2011, from 19.6% to 13.9%. The adjusted gender pay gap, accounting for structural differences, is at 6.3% and has remained relatively stable since 2012. The report suggests addressing workplace culture and family-friendly policies in male-dominated sectors to attract more women.
