The prince was in Aberdeen to see the progress made in his efforts to end homelessness.
Prince William celebrated the first housing provided by his Homewards charity, aimed at eradicating homelessness, in Aberdeen. He visited a one-bedroom flat furnished through the initiative, welcoming the first tenant, a formerly homeless woman. The visit included broadcaster Gail Porter, a Homewards advocate, and marked the launch of a new partnership between Homewards and recruitment firm Hays to provide employment opportunities. William also toured Invisible Cities, a homeless-friendly employer in Aberdeen.
