With a new label, Economy Ministry relaunches ‘Made in Mexico’

The Economy Ministry, under Marcelo Ebrard, has relaunched the 'Made in Mexico' brand as part of President Claudia Sheinbaum's Plan Mexico, aiming to elevate Mexico's economic standing. The initiative seeks to boost local production and consumption, with requirements that products be 100% Mexican in materials and manufacturing. The original 1978 logo, designed by Omar Arroyo Arriaga, has been updated. The relaunch supports economic strategies to reduce reliance on foreign goods, particularly addressing the impact of cheap imports from China on local industries.
