World Cup scandal as 27 nations demand official investigation into FIFA

Seventy-two members of the European Parliament have written to 27 EU football associations urging them to demand a formal FIFA investigation into the decision to overturn Folarin Balogun's World Cup suspension, amid claims that Donald Trump's political interference breached FIFA's own rules on neutrality.
