Google has updated its Gemini app, enabling users to interact with the AI chatbot from the iPhone lock screen via a widget, allowing real-time voice access. The update also introduces widgets for photo uploads, reminders, and text chats. Additionally, Google plans to roll out features for Android users later in March, enabling real-time queries about videos and on-screen content, part of Project Astra.
