This lake contains 8,335 cubic meters of thermal mineral water and is located 127 meters below the surface. Situated in the Vromoners region near the Greece-Albania border, the discovery is significant for potential environmental protection and understanding local hydrology. Researchers used advanced technologies like LiDAR and sonar during their expeditions, collaborating with hydrologists.
