A 28-year-old driver in Salzburg received a six-month suspended sentence for negligent homicide after causing a head-on collision on the B320 while speeding. The accident resulted in the deaths of two passengers, a 19-year-old Romanian and a 29-year-old Upper Austrian. The driver was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The court awarded partial compensation to the injured driver and the relatives of one of the deceased.
